WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING
As an owner of a small law firm, I am always pulled in two directions: being a lawyer and managing my office. As a lawyer, I thought I knew everything regarding how to handle my employees. After my meeting with Abbey from CopperTop Consulting, I realized I was grossly mistaken. Now that I have Abbey in my corner dealing with the nuances of my HR needs I can finally focus my attention on my clients and not worry about being exposed to liability from any issues with my employees. Abbey knows more than many lawyers in her field and her individualized attention is perfect for my small business. She does not treat me like some of the bigger corporations tend to do. By being prepared Abbey has saved me form many stressful conditions. Abbey crafted a custom employee handbook that covers every issue that may arise. The handbook is simple to use and easy for my employees to understand.Anthony Ciaccio
Abbey provides remarkable support to the field human resource operation in the area of bargaining unit compensation. The reason I use remarkable is she understands the different Company organizations’ different operating nuances, which allows her to respond to the various inquiries and actions necessary to fulfill the Company’s bargaining unit contractual obligations. She provides creative solutions to issues that arise, i.e. the hiring matrices used for non-entry level positions. We appreciate all that she does for our team making our jobs easier by providing information in advance of being asked.Patty Whelton
Abbey has a somewhat rare combination of solid interpersonal and analytical skills and is able to diagnose problems and devise viable solutions. Her ability to remain unflustered during frenzied periods proves her ability to work well under pressure. Abbey is a subject matter expert in her field and her advice is highly regarded by her colleagues.Lue Calandra, SPHR
Abbey works like a hawk on compensation issues in our company – she is easily described a detail oriented, sharp minded, and able to maintain excellent relationships at all levels.
I have known Abbey for over 3 years and she is the subject matter expert on compensatory tasks and problems. The types of tasks involved usually require someone who is well versed in contract terminology and be able to manage multiple time-oriented transactions in the right order. Since the inception of our new HRIS system (Peoplesoft), she has been able to direct others and train, including me, on how the system handles transaction so that the employee is properly compensated. Every year, she primarily coordinates the company’s wage progression and merit process by working with Payroll and HR together so that our 8000+ union employees receive their collectively bargained increases. Additionally, all union settlement agreements are funneled through her specifically so that she can review and process each one accordingly. In urgent situations, she will definitely step up to the task to ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction.
As a colleague, I have learned to trust and rely on her to do not only what is required, but to give extra customer service with good follow-up. She is definitely an asset to me and other HR Generalists I work with who would give similar comments. Abbey is a pleasure to work with and always “On It”.
